Week 15: Green Bay Packers (2014 Record: 12-4)
The Packers came so close to wrapping up a berth in last season’s Super Bowl. A late collapse prevented it, of course. But many believe that this is the year Green Bay gets over the hump and represents the NFC in the big game. And with good reason.

The Packers are as complete of a team as there is in the NFL. They’re balanced on offense with Eddie Lacy running the ball, and the dynamic duo of Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb catching them. And of course, with a man who is arguably, the best quarterback in the league in Aaron Rodgers, you have one of the league’s most formidable offensive units.
If there is one chink in Green Bay’s armor, it’s their run defense, which surrendered almost 120 yards a game last season. Even if the Raiders are able to exploit that though, it still may not be enough.
Though painful for Raider fans to hear, it shouldn’t be heresy to say that Green Bay is just a flat out better team than Oakland at this point. They’ve been a cohesive unit longer than Oakland, and are well enmeshed in their way of doing things – and they do them extremely well.
The Packers should win this game handily, and give the Raiders a terrific learning experience in the process.
Prediction: LOSS
Raiders 17; Packers 35
Record: 9-5
