And things were going so well.
By this point in the season, the Broncos should be cruising and gearing up for the playoffs. But in a big surprise that will undoubtedly shock the world, the Raiders will be battling for a spot as well.

Denver is never an easy place to play, and the Raiders will do doubt, find it as inhospitable as ever. The Broncos know that their Super Bowl window is closing, and that this season may be the last hurrah, so there is no doubt that Manning is going to have the offense in cruise control, and the defense is going to be crushing people. In the end, the Raiders will put up a fight, but just as with their earlier meeting in the season, will fall just short.
Oakland is on its way, but they likely need another season before they’re ready to challenge the Broncos for the division crown. Of course, if Manning does in fact retire following this season, that is going to help the Raiders climb that ladder that much quicker.
Prediction: LOSS
Broncos 34; Raiders 24
Record: 9-4
