Week 12: @Tennessee Titans (2014 Record: 2-14)

One of the biggest question marks facing the Titans right now is at the quarterback position. Will it be Zach Metternberger? Will it be Marcus Mariota? Or will it be Phillip Rivers? Whoever it winds up being isn’t going to be enough to overcome Tennessee’s offensive deficiencies. And no, Hakeem Nicks is not the answer either.

More from Derek Carr

They’ve added some nice pieces on the defensive side of the ball in Perrish Cox and Brian Orakpo, but they still have a long way to go before they can be considered relevant in the NFL.

The Raiders should control this game from the opening kick. The Titans haven’t much to improve themselves after last season’s disastrous campaign, and the Raiders should be able to exploit weaknesses along the defensive front, as well as in the secondary. Defensively, they should be able to make life miserable for Mettenberger/Mariota/Rivers or whoever else may be under center for the Titans.

Prediction: WIN

Titans 17; Raiders 38

Record: 8-3
