Week #15 Green Bay Packers
To be the best, the Raiders are going to have to learn to beat the best. The Packers have had a long, sustained period of success, and came up just short of a Super Bowl bid in 2014. And of course, they have Aaron Rodgers and former Oakland free agent target Randall Cobb.

The Packers have a very high powered offense, and one that has made plenty of opposing defenses look downright silly. With Rodgers, Cobb, and Jordy Nelson providing some of the aerial pyrotechnics, and Eddie Lacy (1,139 yards in 2014, good for seventh in the league) chewing up yardage on the ground, the Raiders are going to have their hands full.
Many widely consider the Packers to be a favorite to earn a Super Bowl berth in 2015.And if the Raiders are going to scale the mountain back to respectability, if not prominence, they are going to have to learn to shut down QB’s like Rodgers, and shut down teams like the Packers.
It’s an incredibly difficult test for this young Raiders defense. But hey, given the fact that it’s a late December game, at least it’s being played in California rather than on the Frozen Tundra.
