Brendan Kennealy:
First Round: Pelicans (4-1)
Second Round: Rockets (4-2)
Western Conference Finals: Spurs (4-3)
Finals: Cavs (2-4)
Nick Hjeltness: In the words of philosopher Leandro Barbosa, “We gonna be Championship.” The Warriors beat the Cavaliers in the Finals – six games.
Brian Banifatemi: I see the Warriors definitely making it to at least the Western Conference Finals this postseason. They have all the talent in the world and with the leading MVP candidate leading the team, they have potential to take it all the way. At the end of the day, if the Warriors can execute and crush opponents like they did so many times in the regular season and have everybody stay healthy, my expectation is for them to ride their momentum all the way to the end and win the 2014-2015 championship. Past frustrations from back-to-back shortcomings in the postseason in the previous two seasons will only fuel their fire more.
Marc Grandi: The Warriors will beat the Pelicans in five games in the first round, the Grizzlies in five games in the Western Conference Semifinals, the Spurs in six games in the Western Conference Finals, and the Cavaliers in six games to bring the franchise their first basketball championship since Rick Barry‘s 1975 squad.
Angelo Mendoza: Realistically, they’ll beat the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round in five games, then the Memphis Grizzlies within four games prior to losing to the San Antonio Spurs in seven games. If they DO happen to find a way to get past Leonard and the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals however, they’ll move on to face the Cleveland Cavaliers for another seven-game series. I think the Warriors win that series, but only if they make it out the WCFs.
