Brendan Kennealy: Curry for MVP? Yes. Kerr for Coach of the Year? Yes. Green & Bogut for All-NBA Defense? Most definitely.
Nick Hjeltness: Absolutely, without any doubt, Curry is the MVP. For Coach of the Year, Kerr is plenty deserving but my vote would go to Mike Budenholzer for the job he has done with the Hawks. And yes, Draymond and Bogut deserve to be voted to the All-Defense team. Klay and Iggy both have an argument to be made as well.
Brian Banifatemi: Curry is hands-down the MVP of the NBA this season. He has taken a good team to a historically-elite team and that can not be overlooked no matter which way you look at it, and the same argument can be made for Steve Kerr, how his coaching has taken a talented team to a team that is shattering records. As for Bogut and Draymond Green, one of them definitely deserves to be on an All-Defensive team. They have been anchoring the NBA’s best defense all season long, and the Warriors would not be able to stop opponents as effectively if it was not for their performances.
Marc Grandi: Curry is the MVP of the NBA, but James Harden will be a close second. The Coach of the Year Award will come down to Kerr and Atlanta’s Mike Budenholzer, and the Hawks’ recent slide will push Kerr ahead. Both Green and Bogut deserve to be on the All-Defense Team, and one of them will be the Defensive Player of the Year, allowing the Warriors to sweep the three main awards.
Angelo Mendoza: Yes, yes and yes. I’ve written several articles on why Curry is MVP, and I strongly believe that Kerr has been the driving force behind Curry achieving greatness. Through Curry, Kerr has created a system that has made the rest of the team THAT much better, and I believe the experts will agree. As for Green and Bogut, I believe they each not only deserve to be voted to the All-Defense Team, but also have a chance to be voted Defensive Player of the Year.
