The final step in solving the Kings woes doesn’t involve the players. Ever since coach Rick Adelman left the team in 2006, the coaching situation in Sacramento has been a revolving door. The Kings have had eight different coaches since Adelman’s departure.
Switching coaches so often doesn’t allow for that coache’s system to go into effect, nor does it allow players to make a connection with their coach. The Kings recently hired George Karl and he has had moderate success, coaching to an 8-11 record.

Sir Charles In Charge
One would think that George Karl will hold his job for years to come with the Kings. But the Kings have been so quick to pull the trigger on firing their head coach, that unless Karl shows vast improvement very soon, he will likely be shown the door as well.
If the Kings wish to become a successful team, they must find a coach who not only improves the team, but a coach the Kings are willing to be committed to, and will keep him in charge for more than a year.
