The San Francisco Giants are a couple weeks into Spring Training games and are just a few weeks away from Opening Day. It’s time for another round of questions about this Giants team.

In this week’s Giants Mailbag post, we will discuss the new players and which one has the most potential to have a strong year for the Giants, who will step up offensively with Hunter Pence out, and the Giants’ slow start to Spring Training.

This is the ninth edition of the Giants Mailbag. These are weekly posts that include answers to three questions about the Giants that are sent to me by fans over Twitter.

In last week’s Giants Mailbag post, I discussed how the Giants are able to handle pressure so well, who is the most important Giants player besides Madison Bumgarner, and if Adam Duvall has a chance at making the Giants’ Opening Day roster, in order to make up for the lack of power in the lineup.

Thanks to the fans that sent in questions this week. Let’s get started.
