Bogut’s health is one of the most important factors for the Warriors heading into the playoffs. Bogut is so crucial to the Warriors’ defense and overall toughness, and those traits are even more important in a high-intensity situation like the playoffs.

Kerr understands how important Bogut is to the Warriors’ success, and he will certainly rest Bogut as needed throughout the rest of the season because of this. It’s unclear how often Kerr might rest Bogut though.

If the Warriors are able to extend their lead over the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference, Bogut will certainly see less minutes or more nights off. If the Warriors are facing an inferior opponent, especially later on in the season, Bogut could rest then too.

In additon to Bogut, Kerr will most likely find games to rest Curry, Iguodala, and Thompson, when he returns from injury and if he needs some time off, too.

The Warriors’ health, as a team, is incredibly vital to their future success in the playoffs. Kerr has managed key players’ minutes throughout the season, and he will continue to do the same throughout the rest of the season.
