Coach of the Year:
While Mike Budenholzer has done an amazing job with the Atlanta Hawks this season, there are many who believe that no one has done a better job of making their squad better than Steve Kerr has done this season.
While he did have ultra talents in Curry, Thompson, Harrison Barnes, as well as bench players Iguodala and David Lee, Steve Kerr reinvented the Warriors offense while keeping the solid defensive team from last year in tact.

Previous coach Mark Jackson built up a juggernaut on defense, but was known for his isolation plays and lack of creativity on the offensive end. Under Kerr the Warriors have remained a top-tier defensive team, while also making the Warriors offense creative and incredibly potent.
This year has featured Kerr’s offensive system that has Thompson and Curry coming off screens and shooting lights out. Another credit to Kerr’s coaching job this season is that he found great assistant coaches and let them run their offensive and defensive schemes with a lot of freedom.
If Kerr isn’t in the running for Coach of the Year this season, it would be a travesty.
