Question #2: What is the status of Rod Streater and Andre Holmes?
Oakland desperately needs upgrades to its receiving corps. There is no question about that. And with all of the talk about those upgrades centering on the pursuit of Randall Cobb – and possibly even Jeremy Maclin – not to mention all of the chatter about drafting Amari Cooper versus Kevin White, precious little attention has been paid to Oakland’s in house options – Rod Streater and Andre Holmes.

Both are restricted free agents this season, but there has been very little in the way of news about contract negotiations with either. There will likely be something of a market for both of them given their size and ability.
Especially Streater. He showed in 2013 that he has the potential to be a number one receiver in this league who can stretch the field and stretch the defense. Holmes began developing a good sense of chemistry with Derek Carr last season, but struggled with consistency at times.
Both have tremendous upside, and put together with James Jones, potentially Cobb and one of the young studs in the draft, the Raiders could suddenly have a very lethal receiving corps.
