The Golden State Warriors were an inferior team in the Western Conference for most of the 2000’s. They eked into the playoffs of the 2006-07 season as the conference’s eighth seed. After another short playoff drought, the Warriors have become a powerhouse. And this season, a legitimate title contender.
One may ask how does a team go from one a laughingstock to a team who has dominated the 2014-2015 season and looks destined for a long playoff run? There are five key moves the Warriors’ brass has made that has turned this Warriors team from a mainstay in the lottery, to a team that currently leads the Western Conference and looks like the dominant force in the NBA.
