San Jose Sharks: Seven Trade Ideas Before the Deadline

Tyler Bozak – Toronto Maple Leafs
Bozak seems to be undervalued in Toronto. He is third on the team in scoring with 37 points (16g, 21a) in 60 games this season. Bozak is also a young player at only 28 years old. He is signed through 2018-19, and the Sharks could comfortably take on his $4.2 million cap hit. Bozak would undoubtedly be a nice addition on the Sharks’ roster.
He could either slide in as the third line center — his natural position — or take a winger slot on one of San Jose’s top two lines. The Maple Leafs would likely want some combination of prospects and draft picks to part with Bozak.
The Leafs have made all but two players available in their scorched-earth rebuild. Those players are van Riemsdyk and young defenseman Morgan Rielly. That makes Bozak available, right?
