Breaking news occurred just before the show was recorded. It had been reported that Ben McLemore was snubbed from the Rising Stars game in New York City during All-Star weekend.
This was the second year in a row in which the shooting guard was not given the opportunity to play during the All-Star weekend. Players like Zach LaVine from the Minnesota Timberwolves were chosen above him – was that the right choice?
DeMarcus Cousins, who was recently named as the All-Star replacement for Kobe Bryant, is a player that everyone should be watching moving forward this season.
