Of all of the Western Conference teams entrenched in the playoff picture, the Houston Rockets are the one team that will do everything in its power to ensure they do not play the Warriors in the postseason. They were swept in the season series, and none of the games were even all that close.

Like the Thunder, the Rockets simply do not have the depth to keep up with the Dubs. Thompson has proven capable of limiting James Harden‘s playmaking ability on the defensive end, and has thoroughly schooled him on the offensive end. When he has played, Bogut has neutralized the intimidating low-post presence of Dwight Howard.

The Warriors have created a permanent residence in the minds of the Rockets, and should they play each other in the first round of the playoffs, it would be shocking to many if the series were extended beyond four games.
