If we rewound to around this time last season, the Warriors would not have wanted any part of the high-flying Oklahoma City Thunder. The tables have turned however, and the Warriors are the powerhouse that the Thunder absolutely do not want to face in the first round of the playoffs, should they manage get there.

The Thunder have been riddled by injuries to their superstars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, but even when both have played, they have been thoroughly outmatched by the Dubs. Golden State decisively won their first three matchups with Oklahoma City before dropping the final one in a game in which Iguodala and Andrew Bogut were out of uniform.

So far this season, the Thunder have not proven that they have the depth to counter the Warriors. In a seven-game series, the Warriors can easily game plan around Durant and Westbrook defensively speaking, and let their offense take care of the rest.
