The jury is still out on Stauskas. Admittedly, his performance has been all too Jimmer Fredette-esque for Kings fans and makes us nervous about whether he will pan out or bust out. He has, in reality, not seen much time out on the floor to prove himself, but shooting at a clip of 32 percent from the field and 26 percent from three-point land (what he was brought in to do) and performing below average on defense do not help things.

Not to mention that we now know that the Kings passed up players like Elfrid Payton and Zach LaVine, who would have been great backups to Collison at the point, considering Ramon Sessions turned out to be a horrendous offseason addition. Seriously, that guy should not be out there.

If the Kings are still looking for someone to bolster their 19th best three-point shooting percentage, they should look into Baylor graduate Brady Heslip, tearing up the D-League at 49 percent shooting and 26 points per game.
