Randy Gregory: Defensive End, Nebraska

Another option for Oakland for the defensive end position is Nebraska’s Randy Gregory, who is projected to go fifth on the scout INC top 32 board, but ESPN’s Todd McShay believes that he could be picked fourth, the Raiders’ pick. Gregory, like Ray, is mostly known for his excellence in the pass rush defense. This 2014 season, Gregory posted 50 tackles with seven sacks and one interception.

In 2013, he had his breakout season with 60 tackles, 40 of which were solo tackles and 19 tackles were for losses that totaled to 101 yards and had 10.5 sacks. That season, Gregory won National Sophomore Defensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-Big Ten, Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week (vs. Michigan3), Most Sacks by a First-Year Husker (10.5), Ted Hendricks Award Watch List, and the Nebraska Defensive MVP.

Once again, this is the type of player that can be Mack and Moore’s partner in crime on the defensive line.
