If you’re looking for power from your third baseman, you’ve come to the right person with Duvall. In his minor league career, he’s hit 100 home runs, including 30 in Advanced-A in 2012, and 27 in just 91 games at AAA in 2014. He proved his power in the major leagues in 2014, as he hit three home runs in 71 at-bats, including one each against Cliff Lee and Mike Leake.

He’s played third base just once in the big leagues, and for two short innings. Third has been his primary position in his journey through the organization so far, as 371 of his 500 games were spent at the hot corner. His defense is a question mark though, as evidenced by his 89 errors and .917 fielding percentage.
Offensively, he may be the best choice of the bunch, if he can replicate his success from the minor leagues. And he’s going to need to hit in order to cover for his defense.
