Wishful Thinking

Ndamukong Suh:  Suh will not only be the best defensive tackle in free agency, but he will also be the best player. Suh has the nastiness to be a Raider, and he would be a major upgrade for the defensive line. The Raiders can only dream of Suh, because he will be so heavily targeted by teams that are ready to win Super Bowls and not in the process of rebuilding. Sorry Raider Nation, but Suh won’t be bringing down the quarterback hard in silver and black.

Realistic Target

Gerald McCoy: OK, so you are thinking “Wow Gerald McCoy! He’s awesome, he’s wishful thinking too. We can’t get him!” Yet, the Raiders need to make a splash somewhere to give fans hope and bolster their team, and McCoy is the guy that can make this happen. Mark Davis will most likely force some type of splash signing, and McCoy will be able to pretty much write his own numbers in. Davis will follow in his dad’s tradition and give McCoy his big payday.
