Offensive Line

Wishful Thinking
Doug Free: Doug Free is a Pro Bowl player and would finally fill the right tackle position for the Raiders. The right tackle spot has been held (pun attended) by Khalif Barnes for the last few seasons, and he constantly finds himself back with the Raiders, even after all the penalties he tallies. Free would be able to help in the passing game and would be a major upgrade. McKenzie would have to open up that checkbook for Free, because obviously he won’t come fre… never mind.
Realistic Target
The 2015 NFL Draft: It would be best for the Raiders to upgrade the offensive line through the Draft. In 2014, McKenzie was able to grab rookie Gabe Jackson and also brought in veterans to secure the offensive line. If they can continue to draft solid players for the offensive line and have the vets they brought in teach these young players, the Raiders could be looking at a top-ten offensive line.
Next, we’ll take a look at the defense.
