49ers Receiver Corps vs Cardinals Secondary

Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree will have to pick up the slack if Vernon Davis (ankle/knee) isn’t able to play. Davis has not practiced all week and is currently labeled as questionable for the game. Boldin was a member of the Cardinals from 2003-2009.
Colin Kaepernick has played extremely well against Arizona in his short career. He is 3-0 with six touchdowns and 838 passing yards against the Cardinals.
Boldin and Crabtree will have to go up against shut-down corner back Patrick Peterson and Antonio Cromartie. Peterson had a rough game against New York, picking up three penalties and showing signs of struggle throughout the game. Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians commented on the matter, “I thought it was probably his poorest game since I’ve been here.”
Peterson will come back stronger than before and with something to prove this week. Look for him to play extremely well and limit completions to whoever he is assigned to cover.
