Tony Burgess: Of course the Cardinals have a secret weapon! Our offense is primed for a breakout game at some point, and the 49ers might be the team to feel the wrath. We like to call our secret weapon John Brown.

The rookie wide receiver played extraordinarily well throughout the preseason, regardless of who he was playing with, Carson Palmer or Drew Stanton, at quarterback. For the first two weeks of the season, Brown has seen few targets, but he has made plays when the opportunity has called upon him.

Brown’s ability to run precise routes and create open windows for the quarterback has been the most impressive attribute out of Brown’s game. Like I said, he is a rookie but he is surely a rookie primed to go off at some point. Why not in a critical divisional game against the 49ers?
