3. Who is expected to step up and fill Darnell Dockett’s spot?

Tony Burgess: It became pretty clear, as of last week, that the Cardinals’ defensive end, Calais Campbell, would be a key contributor in the absence of Darnell Dockett. Also, even though he is an inside linebacker and not on the defensive line, Larry Foote has proven despite his old age that he will still be able to make a big impact in the Cardinals’ run defense.

Most of the time, Foote has been seen standing up alongside the defensive line acting almost like another defensive linemen except just standing up. Foote’s ability to perfectly time snap counts has been a big reason as to why the Cardinals, despite the loss of Dockett, have had the third ranked rushing defense through two weeks of the season.
