2. Michael Floyd looks like he is starting to live up to his first-round pick expectations. How will his performance affect the outcome of this game against the 49ers?

Tony Burgess: Michael Floyd could be a key contributor against the 49ers. I say this because it seems like Floyd is emerging to become the number one guy in Arizona, by the end of this season. Reasonably, Larry Fitzgerald received the most targets for the Cards last week, but this was with Drew Stanton at quarterback.

If you are a backup quarterback who rarely gets a chance to play with the number one offense, it is expected to see Stanton’s focus set on Fitzgerald simply because he has seen the many impact plays over the years and knows the best chance to win, which would be to throw it to a guy who is considered to be a future Hall-of-Famer.

Now, if Palmer comes back, like week one, expect another big game out of Floyd, who tore it up in week one against the San Diego Chargers. If Floyd performs well, I expect a 300-yard day by Palmer, but, if it is Stanton on the field, I am not sure how much of an impact he will be able to have. At the end of the day, it always comes back to the quarterback.
