Starter:Andrew Bogut
Bench:Festus Ezeli,Ognjen Kuzmic
The Australian big man isback at full healthafter missing out on last postseason with a rib injury, and the timing couldn’t be any better. Expect Bogut to be back on the low block, clogging the lane and swatting away attempts at the rim come Oct. 29.
Luckily, thesame diagnosiscomes out of Ezeli’s camp after the young center missed all of last season rehabbing a surgically-reinforced knee. While some right shin inflammationkept him out of Summer League, it’s likely that’s long gone and Ezeli will beavailable for training camp.
Even luckier, Kuzmic’sstress reaction in his left legshould be close to being fully healed, so it’ll be interesting to see if Kuzmic can be the third center on the roster.
If not, could DubNation seeJermaine O’Nealonce again sporting a Dubs uniform? Hard to say if O’Neal will finally retire, but news is that Warriors majority ownerJoe Lacob isn’t ready to cut tieswith the veteran big man just yet.
