The Warriors will have four point guards on the roster going into training camp, but it is likely only two will be participating.

Livingston, who on Thursday was relieved of his cast following arthroscopic surgery on his right toe, will likely miss out on training camp. He’s hopeful that he’ll be available to play come Oct. 29, which is Golden State’s season opener against the Sacramento Kings.

Nedovic, who was forced to sit out for the Serbian national team that took home the silver medal in the FIBA World Cup tournament, has been nursing a right foot injury and will likely sit out for training camp considering there’s been no recent updates on his condition.

For the two point guards that will be participating, Curry is used to getting all the attention on the court, but he’ll likely have to settle for being second fiddle as Craft will be in the spotlight for much of the preseason.

The former Ohio State Buckeye was invited to training camp following a decent run with Golden State’s Las Vegas Summer League squad, and things are looking as if he’ll be competing with the injured Nedovic for the third point guard spot.

Although it’s unfortunate that “Nedo” has been plagued with lower-body injuries throughout his NBA career, this could give Craft the chance he needs to make the NBA at Nedovic’s expense.
