Another solidified starting position in the Warriors’ rotation is at center, with Andrew Bogut being the defensive anchor. Bogut took part in 67 contests last season and put up 7.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game. He finished second in the NBA in defensive rating (96.3). There is no question that the seven-foot Australian will be in the starting lineup to begin the season.

Festus Ezeli will be the primary backup center this year after missing last season with a knee injury. Ezeli showed some promising signs in his rookie season averaging 2.4 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in just 14 minutes. His defensive skills are far more developed than his offensive skills, but he is still raw and will become more developed as he gains more experience.
