8. If things get rough, Doug Wilson, and Todd McLellan will get replaced

If I was part of the ownership group of the Sharks (I can only dream), I would be fed up with Doug Wilson, he is all bark no bite: “expect some big changes.” I’ve been expecting, and expecting, and expecting, but I do not see any changes happening. Our biggest moves this offseason was letting Dan Boyle walk and signing John Scott. In my, and many other fans’ opinion, he is not doing enough to “rebuild” or whatever you want to call this. Obviously, I do not know what has/is going on in his office, but it doesn’t seem like much.

As for Todd McLellan, I have always been a fan of McLellan, but if the season does not start like the owner wants, this could be the end of the Todd McLellan era in San Jose. I feel like he is a good coach, I think his knock against him may be that he is not mean enough, he might not have that edge to his coaching style that many other coaches have.
