7. Mark-Edouard Vlasic will win the Norris Trophy
Mark-Edouard Vlasic has developed into one of the best defenseman in the league the past few seasons. As a former 2nd round pick, he has certainly lived up to expectations, maybe even exceeded them and he is only 27! He is definitely one of, if not the most underrated player in the NHL, purely because he plays on the west coast, a non-traditional hockey market. He does not get the credit and attention that he deserves. He is as sound defensively as anyone, and he is not to shabby offensively either (5G+19A). I think he should win, but I may be a tad bit biased.
