In the 2010-11 season, with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Kennedy accumulated 45 points (21G+24A) in 80 games. Last season, in his first season with the Sharks, he contributed only 17 points (4G+13A) in 67 games. Last season, he was also a -10, and did not see one second of ice in the playoffs.
I have always believed the first season with a new team, especially when its your first move, is a throw away because the player has to get used to his teammates, used to the travel, coaches, system, and so much more. So maybe, just maybe, Tyler Kennedy can return to his old form, and really help the Sharks make another run at the Cup.
