Damage Control…Too Little Too Late

Next, he tried to do some damage control on Twitter:

Wow. Five tweets admitting it was a wrongful source, but he blows it by claiming he goes “behind-the-scenes.” It’s more like “behind the computer screen.”

So there you have it. Visual proof that “Hockeyy Insiderr,” one of the more popular anonymous “insiders,” is a complete fraud.

My intent in doing this was not to harm this “insider’s” reputation. I did this as an experiment to see whether these so-called “trade breakers” were really who they claimed to be. There are numerous Twitter accounts out there similar to “Hockeyy Insiderr” that make up stories and pass them off as truth.

So my point is, check your sources. Instead of falling victim to some random guy behind a computer in his parent’s basement, turn to the mainstream media (ESPN, CBSSports, NBCSports, etc.) that, more often than not, get things right.
