A.J. Jenkins got his own slide, but this entire draft deserves some recognition. Here are the picks:

Round 1: A.J. Jenkins
Round 2: LaMichael James
Round 4: Joe Looney
Round 5: Darius Fleming
Round 6: Trenton Robinson
Round 6: Jason Slowey
Round 7: Cam Johnson

Of all those players, only James, Looney, and Fleming are on the team. James is just a kick/punt returner, Looney hardly sees the field, and Fleming has torn both his ACLs and has never even suited up. After hitting a home run in the 2011 draft, the 49ers hoped to do the same thing in the 2012 draft. Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite the opposite. This draft will go down as one of the worst in 49ers’ history. If the 49ers want to continue to stay at the top of the league, they must avoid drafts like this in the future. With the 2014 draft coming up, they should study this draft so that they can avoid doing it again.
