Bando finished in the top 15 in the MVP voting as Oakland’s run of five consecutive AL West titles came to an end. It was also Bando’s last season with the A’s, he signed a five-year, $1.4 million contract with the Brewers as a member of baseball’s first full free-agent class.

He was third in the American League with a 23.0 Power-Speed number and fifth with a 5.6 WAR. He was also seventh among AL position players with a 5.8 WAR.
