Another great value pick for the 49ers. Frank Gore has been the heart and soul of the entire 49ers team for just about 10 years. Even during the “dark years” Gore was the workhorse that carried the entire offense. The five-time pro bowler is the 49ers all time leading rusher and holds the record for the most rushing touchdowns in 49ers history. Even now at 30 years old, Gore is still the premiere running back on a team that’s stacked with talent at the position. There is no all around better running back than Frank Gore. He can run, catch and pass block. He might not be the fastest or the quickest, but he can pass block better than any other running back in the NFL. If you talk to any 49ers’ fan, they will tell you that he deserves to be in the hall of fame for all he has done. While he might not make the NFL hall of fame, he will definitely be in the 49ers’ ring of honor.
