Golden Gate Sports resumes its recap of some of the best single-season performances in the history of the Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants as we anticipate Opening Day.

Today, we look at the 10 best seasons by right fielders in the history of the Giants, dating to their arrival in San Francisco in 1958.

This is the 11th installment and final in the series on the Giants, as we’ve already listed the top 10 seasons for left field, relievers, catchers, second basemen, third basemen, center fielders, shortstops, starting pitchers, first basemen and utility players.

To qualify for this list, players needed 100 games at the position for the season in question. This requirement was not prorated for the strike-shortened seasons of 1981 or 1994.

Before you turn the page, here are the five seasons that just missed the cut:

15. Jack Clark, 1982
14. Randy Winn, 2008
13. Chili Davis, 1986
12. Hunter Pence, 2013
11. Bobby Bonds, 1974
