Durazo came to Oakland as part of a four-team trade involving Arizona, Toronto and Cincinnati, coming from the Diamondbacks as the A’s traded minor leaguer Jason Arnold to the Blue Jays. Getting full-time at-bats for the first time in his career, Durazo helped power the A’s to their fourth straight playoff berth and second consecutive AL West title.
He was third in the American League with 100 walks and fifth with 12 intentional walks.
Durazo tied for the lead among AL designated hitters with 92 runs.
