A lot of fans are dissatisfied with McDonald’s play in his rookie year. He did have his frustrating moments, but the 6’4 217 lbs tight end has plenty of potential. He might not ever be a true number one tight end, but with Vernon Davis ahead of him, he won’t have to be. McDonald deserves more than one year to show his skill. Hopefully he can improve in all areas and be a monster in the run game and a big target in the passing game.
