The 49ers originally had the second pick of the second round, but traded just seven spots back with Tennessee Titans for their 2014 third round pick. With this pick the 49ers selected Cornellious “Tank” Carradine. There’s not much to say about this pick because Carradine did not play any of his rookie season because of a knee injury he suffered in his final year in college. However, without the injury Carradine was projected to go in the first round. The 49ers snagged him in the second, and if he plays to his potential, this could be a steal.
