Matt Schaub
Schaub, 32, is a two-time Pro Bowler who led the NFL in passing yards for the Texans in 2009 with 4,770. However, he took a significant step backwards in 2013, when he started in eight games for Houston and relieved in two others. He completed 61.2 percent of his throws for 2,310 yards and had 10 touchdowns to go with 14 interceptions. His passer rating of 73.0 was the lowest of his career for a qualifying season and he had a 37.3 Total QBR, according to ESPN, which ranked 32nd out of 39 qualifying quarterbacks. Schaub set an NFL record last year by throwing a pick-six in four consecutive games, part of what led to him being benched in favor of undrafted free agent Case Keenum.
Schaub was originally drafted in the third round by the Falcons out of Virginia in 2004 and spent three years backing up Vick in Atlanta before he was traded to the Texans in March 2007. The Texans were 46-42 in his 88 starts there and went 1-1 in the postseason.
