It’s hardly a surprise that a record 73 home runs was enough to push Bonds’ 2001 season to the top of this list. He won his fourth MVP award, played in his 10th All-Star Game and set a record with 177 walks.

He also led the league with a .515 on-base percentage, .863 slugging percentage (tops all-time), 1.379 OP, 259 OPS-plus and 107 extra-base hits.

Bonds also was tops in the NL with an 11.9 WAR and a 12.4 Offensive WAR and 230 Runs Created. His 22.1 Power-Speed number was sixth.

He was second with 35 intentional walks, third with 129 runs and 411 total bases, fourth with 137 RBI, seventh with a .328 batting average and 10th with an 81.25 stolen base percentage (13-for-16).
