3. What will the Warriors’ starting lineup be for the regular season? Will Klay Thompson or Harrison Barnes come off the bench?

Cole Kundich: Steph, Klay, Iguodala, Lee, Bogut. Barnes is a better at handling the ball then Thompson, and can play either the 1, 2, 3 or 4, which is valuable off the bench.

Tej Kamaraju: Curry at point, Barnes at small forward, Iguodala at small forward, Lee at power forward, and Bogut at center. From all POV’s, it seems to be that the Warriors are leaning towards starting Barnes. While I personally don’t agree with this decision, it’s seems the most likely outcome. He and Thompson are interchangeable, and will receive the same amount of minutes. What it really comes down to, however, is who will be in the lineup to close the game?

Jonathan Asaad: The Warriors’ starting lineup will presumably be Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, David Lee and Andrew Bogut. Klay has outperformed Barnes during the preseason, and with Barnes’ foot injury, his chances of cracking a starting spot are grim. Besides, who wants to break up a starting back court of the Splash Brothers?

Maggie Pilloton: The starting lineup should be Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, David Lee, and Andrew Bogut. Mark Jackson might decide to start Harrison Barnes over Klay though. Even if Klay doesn’t start, he could still finish games with the starting lineup. Harrison should come off the bench though, because this will allow him to go up against weaker lineups and score more easily. He will have more opportunities to score, which will only help his development. It also makes more sense to start Klay, because he’s a better defender.
