3. Curry is, once again, the best player in this series.

May 7, 2013; San Antonio, TX, USA; Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (30) leaves the court after the Golden State Warriors lost to the San Antonio Spurs in game one of the second round of the 2013 NBA Playoffs at the AT

In the Warriors’ first round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets, Curry was the best player out of both teams. In the Warriors’ current series against the Spurs, Curry is making the case that he is, once again, the best player on the floor. Curry continued his spectacular play in the third quarter last night when he had 22 points on 9-for-12 shooting and 4-for-6 shooting from the three-point line. Watch highlights of his amazing third quarter performance here.

The Warriors know how valuable he is to their team, but they might want to be careful with his minutes. Curry played all 58 minutes tonight and looked tired near the end of the game. He didn’t shoot as effectively in each overtime period, and it appeared as if his legs were tired on some of his shots. The Warriors need him rested to be effective in the rest of this series.
