Joey Votto also had a slow start to the season, but has improved tremendously after the first two weeks. His stats are good for the season too. Votto is currently batting .322 and leads the NL in walks. The high number of walks explains why he has only hit in 12 runs, but expect that number to rise by the end of the season. Votto had a streak where he hit three home runs in the eight days, and two of these were on consecutive days.
