Cabrera is currently doing even better than he did last season; he’s batting .385 and has batted in 36 runs off of 47 hits. At his current pace, Cabrera will hit in over 200 runs this season! It is quite unlikely for Cabrera to continue this streak, but, even if he slows down a bit, he will still have a very high number of RBI this season. Cabrera is fresh off of a 4-for-4 performance against the Houston Astros, one in which he had two home runs and six RBI. If he does keep his current pace, Cabrera will break the single-season RBI record of 191 set by Hack Wilson in 1930.
