The biggest problem he’s had so far this season has been allowing the long ball.

Having given up nine already just in April, he leads the team in that stat.

But what’s really concerning is that they seem to come in bunches; in three separate appearances, Cain has given up two or more home runs per outing, and once, during his last start on the road against Arizona, he gave up three in a single inning.  The only good thing we can take out of this is that we can clearly see where he’s missing when he gives them up, which has been either middle and in or up and in.
