9. Improvement on the Road

In recent history, the Warriors have struggled mightily on the road. This isn’t surprising given the fact that playoff teams usually have respectable road records, and the Warriors have only been a playoff team twice now in the past 19 seasons. In the 2011-2012 season, the Warriors went 11-22 on the road (in 33 road games instead of 41 due to the lockout), which is pretty dreadful. This season though, the Warriors went 19-22 on the road. As mentioned before, the Warriors’ 6-1 road trip near the beginning of the season was huge in terms of the Warriors’ record back then, but it also gave the Warriors some confidence on the road that they so sorely lacked recently.
