As every NBA fan knows, the Warriors have never been known to be a defensive-minded team, but Coach Jackson was able to get the Warriors to play defense as a team and teach them basic defensive principles. The Warriors finished fourth in the NBA in opponent’s field goal percentage at 43.9%.

The Warriors were also tied with the Nuggets for second in the NBA for rebounds per game at 45, which was a huge improvement from last season when the Warriors were ranked 28th in the NBA for rebounds per game at 39.2.

The Warriors also ranked seventh in the NBA for opponent three-point field goal percentage at 34.7%.
