2. Tough Schedule

The official schedules for teams haven’t been announced yet, but the 49ers know who their future opponents will be. The 49ers’ home opponents this upcoming season will be the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and Green Bay Packers. The 49ers’ road opponents will be the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars (in London), Tennessee Titans, and Washington Redskins.

The 49ers have a tough road schedule next season. First of all, the Niners’ trip to London to play the Jaguars will occur right in the middle of the season on Week 8, which could cause some serious fatigue in the middle of the season. Then, the Niners have to play in New Orleans, the location of their Super Bowl loss a couple months ago and one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL.

The Niners’ home schedule isn’t much easier. They will face five playoff teams from 2012; the Seahawks, Falcons, Texans, Colts and Packers. Throughout the season, the Niners will also face talented quarterbacks, including Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III (if healthy), Russell Wilson (twice), Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Matt Ryan.
