The 2005 American League Rookie Of The Year has come a long way since his days in Oakland, as injuries have plagued him throughout his career, never allowing him to become the truly solid closer he is.

Despite being injury prone, the twenty nine year old righty has been able to hold down his job as closer when active, and will consistently give you saves averaging in the mid twenties each season.  So he’s not a top five closer, but definitely a top ten, and with one hundred twenty five saves over the last five seasons, there’s a good chance he could take another step, barring anymore setbacks from injuries.

He’s only a bit inconsistent, however, he is a more than viable option when it comes to shutting the door on teams.
